3 Chic Ways To Wear Blush Pink
How do you look pretty in pink when you’re a grown-up gal? Some pinks can look a little girly after 40, but a new shade called blush is chic. Here are three ways to look sophisticated in this soft, modern color.
1. Combine Blush with Black
Elegant meets edgy when you pair a blush top with black pants. The blush pink color helps soften the black, which can sometimes be stark and harsh against aging skin.
Add some fabulous jewelry, sexy suede booties, and a ladylike purse, and you’re ready for a dinner date. Blush pink combined with black works year-round and is especially effective at transitional times, such as Fall and spring.
If black is not your color, but you want to contrast blush with a dark hue, try wearing it with navy, olive, or gray.

2. Combine Blush with Light Neutrals
Not everyone can wear high-contrast colors. If you have a fair complexion or prefer a delicate look, then blushes in white or cream are equally sophisticated.
Channel your inner Grace Kelly in this elegant outfit, which is both feminine and regal. Pair a flirty, silk, peplum blouse with a gorgeous pair of blush dress pants. Add a dazzling pair of nude heels – a little sparkle never hurt!
Complete the look with some delicate gold and pearl jewelry, and a structured, metallic, boss-lady handbag! If your skin and hair are more cool than warm, consider switching out gold for silver for a look that’s a little icier, yet still strikingly chic.

3. Wear Blush with Denim
Blush is very proper and ladylike, so one way to make it less precious is to wear it with your favorite, faded boyfriend jeans. This perfect/rough combo balances the sweetness of pink blush. Add glam accessories to keep the look expensive and mature.
